Welcome to WIC Video 

This video was developed by the California WIC Program for orientation of new WIC participants.  WIC is a federally-funded health and nutrition program for women, infants, and children. WIC helps families by providing checks for buying healthy foods from WIC-authorized vendors, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and help finding other programs or services you may need. Part 1 explains the basics about the WIC program.  Part 2 goes over the foods you can buy and the important parts of your WIC check.  Parts 3-8 show you how to shop for WIC foods and what happens at checkout.  Welcome to WIC!
