Healthy People 2010 (HP2010) is grouped into 28 Focus Areas. Each Focus Area highlighted below contains associated HP2010 objectives currently being tracked and monitored for California.

Leading Health Indicators have one or more HP2010 objectives associated with them, and are intended to reflect major national health concerns and to provide a mechanism for monitoring the health status of populations.
