Office of Health Equity (OHE) Advisory Committee

The Office of Health Equity (OHE) was established by Assembly Bill 1467 to provide leadership in reducing health and mental health disparities to vulnerable communities throughout California. In addition, the enabling legislation establishes an advisory committee for the OHE “to advance the goals of the office and to actively participate in decision making.”

Membership of the OHE Advisory Committee will be comprised of representatives from applicable state agencies and departments, local health departments, community-based organizations, and service providers working to advance health and mental health equity for vulnerable communities. The OHE is seeking individuals for this committee from a broad range of experts, advocates, clinicians and consumers who understand the important issues of health and mental health disparities related to unserved and underrepresented communities.
