California AIDS Clearinghouse (CAC)
CAC provides appropriate and culturally sensitive educational materials free of charge to California local health jurisdictions and other California HIV/AIDS care/prevention programs and agencies within the California Project Area (CPA). CAC also provides free condoms to venues within the CPA which serve populations at highest risk of acquiring HIV infection and/or those who are already infected with HIV.
The CPA includes all of California except the counties of Los Angeles (excluding the City of Long Beach), Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo. Due to new funding guidelines, if you are in these counties, we must refer you to your respective county. Note: Marin and San Mateo counties are covered by San Francisco.
The California AIDS Clearinghouse is currently going through an inventory process and is unable to fulfill any written material orders at this time. We hope to continue fulfilling orders soon.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has an extensive collection of free materials. For further information, please see the links below:

About this Program
All materials in the CAC catalog are made available using federal funding and have been approved by a statewide HIV/AIDS materials review panel as outlined by the CDC in Content of AIDS-related Written Materials, Pictorials, Audiovisuals, Questionnaires, Survey Instruments, and Educational Sessions in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Assistance Programs (Interim Revisions June 1992).
Since HIV is spread primarily through sexual practices or by sharing needles, materials in the CAC catalog may be considered controversial and may not be appropriate for all viewers.
