National Latino AIDS Awareness Day

Dia Nacional Latino Para La Concientizacion Del SIDA

October 15th is National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD).  Taking place during Hispanic Heritage Month, NLAAD's aims are: 1) to educate Latinos about HIV/AIDS, 2) to encourage people to get tested for HIV, and 3) to provide access to care and treatment for all who test HIV positive.
