COVID-19 Vaccination Dataā€‹ā€‹

California is tracking the progress of vaccinations across the state.

On this page:

Statewide vacā€‹cination ā€‹dataā€‹

This chart shows persons with up to date COVID-19 vaccination status in California, by county of residence. These data are updated monthly. Up to date status is defined as having received at least 1 dose of a 2024-2025ā€‹ā€‹ COVID-19 vaccine. CDC recommends that certain groups (children aged 6 months-4 years, people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised, and people aged 65 years and older) receive additional doses.ā€‹ For additional information, see the data dictionaries in the California Open Data Portal. ā€‹ā€‹ā€‹

Vaccination status by Demographic Characteristics

This chart shows the progress in vaccinating different demographic groups and communities. You can view the data at the statewide or county level by age, race and ethnicity, or Healthy Places Index (HPI).ā€‹

The Hā€‹PI is a metric developed by the Public Health Alliance of Southern California and uses a range of data sources and socioeconomic indicators to measure the community conditions that are related to life expectancy. Scores range from less healthy community conditions in Quartile 1 to more healthy community conditions in Quartile 4.ā€‹ā€‹
