Services
BHRS provides integrated mental health services to adults
and older adults with a serious mental illness and to children and youth with a
serious emotional disturbance. BHRS also provides outpatient and residential
alcohol and drug treatment and prevention services and serves as Stanislaus
Countyās Public Guardian.
County Health Services Agency
The Health Services Agency (HSA) provides health care
services to the community via its network of federally qualified health center ā
look alike outpatient clinics, public health services, an indigent health care
program, and a family medicine residency program. The Agency, located in
Stanislaus County, California, is about 90 miles east of San Francisco, and 75
miles south of Sacramento. The HSA is operated by Stanislaus County, serving
close to 500,000 patients and community residents each year.

IRC provides opportunities for refugees to thrive in
America. Each year, thousands of refugees are invited by the U.S. government to
seek safety and freedom. Forced to flee conflict or persecution, many have
survived for years against incredible odds. They step off the plane with next to
nothing but their dignity, hope and determination. In Northern California and
many other regional offices across the country.

2-1-1
Information
A free, easy to remember calling number for residents to
access community referrals any time. The benefits of having trained,
professional call specialists allow people to quickly receive referrals and
access the services they need. As crises arise and the need for help increases,
simply calling 2-1-1 alleviates the need for multiple phone calls by clients to
navigate several services. The 2-1-1 concept puts the client in contact with the
appropriate agencies and organizations that are best suited to assist them in
their time of need.
Food Bank
Second Harvest Food Bank Helps over 35,000 individuals in
need each month in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. Second Harvest Food Bank
acquires and stores donated and purchased food and effectively organizes and
delivers it to our partner agencies and program sites, where it is then prepared
and distributed out to those in need.
CALfresh Food Assistance
The CalFresh Program helps to improve the health and
well-being of qualified households and individuals by providing them a means to
meet their nutritional needs.
Social Services
CSA works with the people of Stanislaus County to help
with a safe place to live, access to food, health care, and opportunities to
work. Our Mission is to serve the community by protecting children and adults,
and assisting families towards independence and self-sufficiency.
Housing Authority
The Housing Authority of the County of Stanislaus, a
nonprofit, public corporation, is committed to addressing the unmet housing
needs of residents and communities in our county. The Authority is governed by a
citizen's commission appointed by the County Board of Supervisors.
United Way
United Way of Stanislaus County is dedicated to leading
the United Way movement creating long-lasting community change by addressing the
underlying causes of the most significant local issues. It takes everyone in the
community working together to create a brighter future. So we bring together
people from all across the community-government, business, faith groups,
nonprofits, the labor movement, ordinary citizens-to tackle the issues. Because
we all win when a child succeeds in school, when a family becomes financially
stable, when people have good health.
