• Some people with long COVID may suffer from Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and post-exertional malaise (PEM). Some of these symptoms can be treated or managed.

Support groups for post-COVID conditions

• Support and patient advocacy groups for people with post-COVID conditions include: Body Politic, Survivor Corps, Long COVID Alliance, Long COVID Families, and Long COVID Kids.

• Parents and educators concerned about children or students with long COVID should refer to resources from the US Department of Education (PDF).
