24-07 Fax Attestations and Certifier Signatures

This All-County Letter (ACL) serves to provide updated information regarding fax attestations and acceptable certifier signatures.

Effective Immediately:

Certifiers may elect to use electronic signatures when certifying the medical information on a death or fetal death record for fax attestations.
Records should not be rejected for registration, due to use of electronic signatures.
The death registration handbooks and EDRS help screen references have been updated to reflect this change.
