California farmers provide nutritious foods to families throughout the state, the nation, and the world. The WIC Program supports the consumption of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, and encourages shopping at farmers' markets. The WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides one booklet of three $10 checks ($30 total) to eligible recipients for use at WIC-authorized Farmers' Markets between May and November of each year.
