Fall 2018 Semiannual Conference

The Fall Semiannual Meeting and Continuing Medical Education Program is scheduled for October 3-5, 2018 at the Four Points by Sheraton, Ventura Harbor Resort, in Ventura, California. The Semiannual meeting is sponsored by the California Conference of Local Health Officers (CCLHO), the Health Officers Association of California (HOAC), and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The Fall 2018 Semiannual Conference will include the CCLHO Fall Business Meeting, the HOAC Business Meeting/Luncheon and a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Health Officer Roles in Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery. ​​

The Fall Semiannual Conference will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton, Ventura Harbor Resort, located in Ventura, California.

Hotel Reservations

CCLHO has reserved a block of rooms at the Conference rate of $129.00 plus taxes and fees per night for single or double occupancy.  Please make your hotel reservation no later than Sunday, September 9, 2018.  Note that once the room block is filled, additional availability is not guaranteed.

Driving Directions From Burbank Airport:

Follow signs from the airport to I-5 North.  Take the CA-118 West via EXIT 156A. Stay on CA-118W by taking the CA-118 W/Los Angeles Ave/CA-23 N exit, EXIT 18B.  Turn slight right onto E Los Angeles Ave/CA-23/CA-118. Continue to follow CA-118. Turn right onto W Los Angeles Ave/CA-118.  Merge onto CA-126 W toward Ventura. CA-126 W becomes Highway 101 North.  Exit on Seaward Avenue, at the stoplight make a left onto Seaward Avenue. Cross over the Freeway. At the next stoplight, which is Harbor Blvd, make another left. Continue on Harbor until you come to the third light which will be Schooner Drive. Make a right and then an immediate left into the parking lot.  

Driving Directions From Northern California (Coast):

Take Highway 101 heading south. Take the Seaward Avenue off ramp, at the stop light, which is Harbor Blvd, make a left turn. Continue on Harbor until you come to the fourth stoplight which will be Schooner Drive. Make a right and then an immediate left into the parking lot.

Driving Directions From Southern California:

Take Highway 101 heading north. Exit on Seaward Avenue, at the stoplight make a left onto Seaward Avenue. Cross over the Freeway. At the next stoplight, which is Harbor Blvd, make another left. Continue on Harbor until you come to the third light which will be Schooner Drive. Make a right and then an immediate left into the parking lot.
