​The purpose of the proposed regulations is to revise outdated language and obsolete citations. The Department proposes to update existing regulations to adopt current industry standards and establish processes to improve health and safety measures, patient care and safety, and to improve public health.

Notice of Public Comment Period 

CDPH is holding a public comment period for the proposed revisions to Title 22 CCR for GACHs' Clinical Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, and Dietetic Services. CDPH welcomes public input during this comment process. Please share your comments and suggestions after reviewing a copy of the proposed regulations and additional regulatory information found on the Office of Regulations - DPH-07-011 GACH: Clinical Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, and Dietetic Service webpage. Regulatory documents for these proposed regulations can also be located on the Office of Administrative Law's California Regulatory Notice Register Online webpage.

The public comment period for these proposed regulations begins on July 26, 2024, and ends on September 12, 2024.
