​Notice of Public Hearing 

California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is holding a public hearing in response to a petition to amend portions of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR) to include California Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, as defined by BPC section 2725.5, in the hospital medical staff regulations. CDPH welcomes public input during this hearing process. Please attend the hearing prepared to share your comments and suggestions after reviewing a copy of the petition and hearing information found on the Office of Regulations - Petition Information webpage.

The public hearing will be held via Microsoft Teams on January 28, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.  Please use the following link to register and access the public hearing on Microsoft Teams: Public Hearing - P-24-02. If you are unable to use the Microsoft Teams application to attend the Public Hearing, you can attend by dial in on a telephone by calling (916)306-8051 and entering conference ID:  472050864.
