Reciprocity (Transferring to another State)

How can I seek reciprocity into another State?

Please contact the CNA board in the State you wish to transfer your certificate into for reciprocity instructions.

Can I send an Out-of-State verification form to the State of California to endorse?

The California Department of Public Health does not endorse any out of State verification forms.

Active certificates must be verified online.

Who do I contact if I was originally certified in California, sought reciprocity into another State, and now wish to transfer my certificate to a different State?

Please contact the CNA board in the State you wish to transfer your certificate into for reciprocity instructions. Verification will need to done in the State you currently have an active CNA certification.
